Qualified Nursery Practitioner Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of a fantastic Outstanding Ofsted rated Nursery in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire. The successful candidate must have a real passion for childcare and be able to work as a member of the nursery team to ensure that all children attending the setting receive high quality care Essential A Childcare and Education qualification equivalent to NVQ Level 2 or 3 or above. A Be able to engage with children, staff and be creative. A First Aid qualification. A Sound knowledge of childcare development from birth to five years. A Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding. A Strong communication and supervisory skills. A Ability to think critically, make decisions and work flexibly. Key Responsibilities Provide high standards of quality within the nursery including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children. Ensure that children are kept safe and that staff understand, and when necessary follow safeguarding procedures. Build strong relationships with parents and staff Ensure the nursery always meets Ofsted requirements Provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring education environment for children Work as a team with other staff members. Work in partnership with parents, carers and other family members. Work with the manager and inspectors during inspections by regulatory bodies and to assist in the implementation of any recommendations. Observe, support and extend children s learning and maintain childrens records. Plan appropriately for children using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for guidance. Relationships with outside agencies and professionals, such as area SENCO that may visit the setting. Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by line management. Be available to work flexible shift patterns to meet the needs of the nursery between the hours of 7.30 am until 6pm. When required be able to work hours in evenings.
