We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Sales to take ownership of the sales of our amazing Cardiff Bay, 5-star, voco St. David’s Cardiff! As our Director of Sales, you will have a passion for sales and hospitality, and be driven to exceed goals and expectations. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who wants to make a significant contribution to the success of our hotel. Main responsibilities are: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize the hotel’s profitability. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients & identify and develop new business opportunities. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to gather insights and inform sales strategies. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure exceptional guest experiences. Develop and manage budgets to ensure sales targets are met while maintaining cost efficiency. Provide regular reports and analysis of sales performance to senior management. To succeed as a Director of Sales you will need: Experience in a senior sales management role in a hotel or hospitality environment. Track record of successfully achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Working within a wider commercial sales office environment with self-starter approach to individual targets and projects Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with prospects, clients and colleagues. Strong negotiation skills to close deals with clients and partners. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
