Who We’re Seeking We are looking for a Versatile Senior Data Engineer who can evolve with the software and the changing business climate. This individual will be responsible for database design, development, data migration, performance tuning and data synchronization. The successful candidate will need to create, optimize, and enhance various SQL data flows, triggers, and queries to ensure a smooth flow of data between applications and fast retrieval of complex results. The candidate will also be responsible for enhancing our data model, BI capabilities and for evolving our processes. In other words, we need someone who: Has seven or more years’ experience in the software industry. Is an expert at analyzing data relationships and managing data state. Is great at creating and optimizing SQL queries. Thrives in a small multi-disciplinary team environment. Can assist in the design and implementation of data warehouses, data marts, and governance frameworks. Can analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex performance and data integrity related issues. Your Day-to-Day Currently – in production – a variety of internal applications and external systems are used to create surveys, analyze responses, and report the results. We are maintaining current production systems and enhancing their functionality and performance. Your responsibilities will involve: Design and implement ETL processes from various internal and external data sources Manage and verify data state and governance rules.
