Position: HGV/ Diesel Mechanic Location: Kilkenny Salary: Neg DOE, Pension etc Elk are currently recruiting for a HGV Mechanic for a stone quarry company in the Kilkenny area. Responsibilities: Servicing and inspecting forklift trucks, dumpers, loaders etc. General up keep of machinery. Servicing of production lines as and when required. Some travel to additional sites as needs arise. Maintaining accurate records. Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements. Ensure that the workshop housekeeping standards are maintained at all times. Requirements: Fully qualified mechanic or fully qualified fitter with experience as a mechanic. Experience in a production environment servicing production lines is desirable but not essential Hydraulic experience desired. Experience as a fitter desired. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Adept at meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards. Proven ability to work without supervision, using your own initiative, or within a team.
