Your mission at Garda World: The primary mandate for the Operations Coordinator will be the development and application of resources necessary to fulfil service delivery commitments to the region including, scheduling, mobile division, office management, customer relations, day-to-day branch operations, client management and recruitment. A priority to this position is the retention of existing clients, employees, and daily problem resolution. What we offer: $70,000 annual starting salary Corporate discounts Training and career development RRSP Contributions after 1 year of employment Use of a company vehicle and gas card while on work Reporting to the General Manager of Fort Mc Murray your duties will include: Operations: Oversee the consistent execution of service requirements for the Fort Mc Murray branch. Continuously review the day-to-day operations within the branch to optimize resources, improve profitability and customer service & limit overtime – implementing change where necessary. Drive efficiencies throughout the operation in conjunction with other branch staff. Ensure that all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements are met, and that Garda World procedures and standards (including health and safety, security, personnel) are consistently applied across the area. Provide coaching and mentoring to the supervision team by setting clear objectives, communicating openly, holding/participating in regular meetings, monitoring performance, and taking corrective action (as appropriate) to ensure corporate and branch goals are met Work with HR, and in a collaborative manner, apply corporate policies to manage disciplinary matters arising in the branch, including dismissals, grievances, absenteeism health and safety issues, etc. Communicating any changes in terms and conditions to staff on a timely basis.
