What you'll be doing: Interior and exterior patrols Conducting daily functions of the security unit including access control, security escorts, responding to calls for service and report writing/note taking Provide keys and temporary pass to visitors/employees Liaising with visitors, customers. and the general public on a consistent basis Providing customer service information and assist in handling the questions of visitors Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through positive teamwork What we offer: We offer competitive wages $19.23/hr Comprehensive health benefits We can guarantee 40 hours/week for full time positions Career advancement opportunities in the security field or within the head office Continuing education through Garda World Campus Corporate discounts – Gym discounts, phone plans and home security What we’re looking for: Valid Alberta Security Guard license Strong computer skills Customer service oriented Must be available any day of the week for 12 hour rotational shifts either days or nights Leadership and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a stressful environment Ability to stand on foot and walk for long periods of time Good verbal and written communication skills- High level of English is required Some Health Care sites require a N95 mask to be fit tested, which will require no facial hair for those working on site.
