We are a vertically integrated, growing fabricator within the GTA founded in 1947. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment used in industrial settings. Your expertise in mechanical systems, precision tools, and equipment maintenance will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. Responsibilities Install, assemble, dismantle, and relocate machinery and equipment according to specifications and blueprints. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, inspection, and cleaning of machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, and implement effective repair solutions. Use precision tools and equipment to align, adjust, and calibrate machinery components to ensure proper functioning. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventive maintenance measures. Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and engineers to develop and improve maintenance procedures and schedules. Order and maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for repairs and maintenance activities. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others. Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and maintain detailed records. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in millwrighting.
