As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager and enthusiastic experienced Material Handler – Warehouse Assistant to join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills in the manufacturing industry. SUMMARY: The Warehouse Assistant will operate the manual ‘Walkie’ ride-on pallet jack to transport and maneuver goods within the warehouse. Additionally, ensure inventory accuracy & utilize shop floor controls. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The pay rate during the first 6 months contract is: $20.87/h. Then the pay will increase to $21.12/h when the hire joins the union and will have access to company benefits (2 weeks paid vacation, RRSP and health benefits) We have 1 Vacancy for the Afternoon Shift ( 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm ) ROLE: Safely and efficiently operate a ride-on pallet jack to transport and maneuver goods within the warehouse. Ensure there are accurate inventory levels, and discrepancies are immediately reported to Management. Cycle count parts inventory as required. Ensure parts are in proper locations and conduct searches for misclassified inventory. Verify parts received are being consolidated and put away accurately.
