Mechanical Engineer Main Points Must have engineering degree Strong experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD Overview Responsible for the engineering aspect of manufacturing and machining operations through a team of lead associates. Maintains design control and supports project schedule, wood processing, and fabrication through project life cycle. Job Duties: Supervising the development of computer-aided design (CAD) project drawings from junior team members Developing, initiating and managing all phases of projects Preparing documentation of critical analysis and providing suggestions for correcting errors Responsible for breaking down high level drawings and models to piece mark drawings and adding material, symbols, call outs, etc. Interpret customer drawings and specifications. Ensure contractual requirements are met. Assemble/prepare and support job packets to and through production. Support planning, prototype hardware fabrication, and the assembly processes for current and new programs. Identify, quantify, and procure materials. Requirements Bachelors degree is required Solidworks experience required AutoCAD experience required Powered by JazzHR
