About the role: The Warehouse Supervisor will be a part of the operations leadership team. Working from one of our Mississauga warehouses, this role is responsible for supervising a group of unionized employees and assisting in the management of various daily functional activities of the warehouse. This includes working towards attaining targets for put-away, picking, processing, and shipping of Inbound Raw Parts and/or Outbound Finished Goods in accordance with company policies and procedures, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). What you will be working on: Supervise a team of unionized warehouse employees, including delegation of tasks, training, coaching, and directing corrective action to resolve day-to-day operational issues Plans, communicates, and executes daily shift work plan outlining work assignments based on daily priorities, equipment availability, and space utilization Continuously monitor the performance and activities of the warehouse through the use of KPIs with a primary focus on cost controls Communicates daily to Distribution Manager and Warehouse Manager on achievement of shift targets, shift issues and provides daily production reports Maintain accurate inventory counts and conduct periodic spot-checks of inventory levels, supplies, or equipment.
