As the Design Director you will own and drive the game design on a development project (Lead Dev or Co-Dev). You thrive on breathing life into a game vision and relish the idea of solving new creative design problems. You tackle challenging, novel situations every day in a professional and constructive manner that helps drive team culture and project results. You are the champion for the player, the voice of design and a key project leader. Responsibilities Deliver on the game vision as set by the Game Director/Creative Director and/or partner studio Champion and communicate the project’s vision and design both internally and externally Work with a core leadership team to establish processes and plans Develop and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders Direct the game’s design as well as the project design team, balancing the needs of both Leads with a goal-driven approach that empowers the team Work with the development team to create engaging content and features Organize, scale and direct a design team through the entire project lifecycle Create and maintain relevant design documentation and information Remain current on industry design trends Create & communicate high-level designs.
