The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, experience with CNC machines, and the ability to read blueprints. WHO ARE WE? ABOUT THE ROLE This position will: read and interpret engineering drawings with emphasis on dimensions and perspectives determine and plan the sequence of operations follow verbal and written instructions of numerical dimensions and tolerances set up, operate, and maintain machining tools load and unload material align and adjust punches and dies as required lay-out, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications, using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and ruler maintain proper tolerances; make appropriate adjustments for angles and dimensions cut and fit material for assembly using powered saws, shears, bending, or punching machine inspect grooves, angles, or gap allowances using precision measuring instruments anticipate and troubleshoot challenges assist the machining shop with other related projects as needed ensure fabrication is done to a high-quality standard and according to schedule ABOUT YOU To succeed in this role, you will have: experience in setup and operation of CNC brake press.
