Based in North Bay, the Civil Engineering Intern will report to the Project Manager and will have a wide range of duties. You will be part of a team that provides solutions over a diverse range of engineering including Municipal, Transportation, Environmental, Drainage and Hydrology and Land Development. What You’ll Do: The Civil Engineering Intern will be part of the TULLOCH Engineering team. You will: Perform pre-engineering inspections and surveys Complete, check, and review technical deliverables including reports, technical notes, drawings, and engineering calculations Prepare plans, proposals, specifications, supporting documents, reports, and permit applications Storm water management, drainage and hydrology, wastewater conveyance, potable water distribution, earthworks, transportation, cost estimating, and other supporting areas Prepare drawings for Site developments and subdivisions including site services, grading, drainage, and storm water management plans On-site sewage disposal systems and private water supplies Perform construction inspection Assist with project management and construction administration Please note that this job description is not meant to be an all-inclusive statement of every duty and responsibility that will ever be required of an employee in the job.
