ScientistThis innovative, growing company is looking to add a Scientist level product developer to their team.-- Ideally you will have 3+ years of experience in protein, bakery, clean label, low carb, and/or plant protein along with experience in reformulation, pilot trials and commercialization.Essential Job Functions:Working with guidance and support from management, and expected autonomy you will:Develop new processes & products, and assist with reformulation for specific guidelines to drive product expansionWork cross-functionally to support continuous improvement and optimization initiatives of current products and manufacturing linesDevelop testing methods and data analysis tools to help build in-depth understanding of products, ingredients, processing conditions and equipment used in operationContinued support of new processes and procedures as the company grows.-- Ability to help planThink critically, balance multiple tasks, and be flexible wearing whatever "hat" is needed to support cross-functional teams and help meet company goalsContribute to our knowledge base, thought leadership, and company culture through your unique character and skillsTechnical Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree Chemical / Biological Systems Engineering required.-- Master's Degree preferred3+ years of relevant experience in food manufacturing, food product development, laboratory and/or pilot plant settingsExperience in any of the following strongly preferredFood engineering & continuous improvementPilot Plant, Food Process developmentFood product development - background in bakery, high protein / low carb or clean label foods are a strong plusAbility to communicate effectively at all levels of the organizationSelf-starter and intellectually curious.-- Comfortable with ambiguityProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite**If you'd like to hear more about this opportunity and others we are currently working on, please contact Kristen Gawrys at kgawrys cps4jobs.com.JO:-- 85.23KG#LI-KG1--
