Open for dinner six days and lunch service two days per week, we serve groups of all sizes, including private events & wine tastings, to dine with us and enjoy our signature style in a fun and relaxed dining space. Our drinks offering focuses on sourcing low-intervention wines and house-made bottled birdtails. We're looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our first class team. Brett is part of the Cultar Restaurant Group , which also includes Cail Bruich , Shucks & Epicures , bringing a wealth of knowledge and support to create a forward-thinking, supportive hospitality group. Core skill set and requirements 1 years+ working at senior CDP or Sous chef role, in a busy kitchen Drive and ambition - someone who is willing to strive for excellence every day Strong people management / leadership skills, and a great personality Ability to take instruction from the Head Chef & deliver on set goals Experience in leading and developing brilliant teams that work well together Experience of multi-functioning venues and managing events A keen, fast learner who is ready to hit the ground running Great attention to detail and the ability to follow paperwork and process, from rotas to stock and margin control - full training on systems and process given Benefits: Base salary of £26,000 PA Equal share of the TRONC tip system from our service charge Great work/life balance with a rota that can suit varied shift patterns Contributory pension scheme Team discount at all venues Birthday champagne Company socials Enhanced maternity & paternity Staff means on shift Uniform is provided Fantastic opportunities for career growth in development as part of an independent, growing group of restaurants striving for excellence Powered.
