Are you an attorney with a passion for handling complex cases in the field of Construction Defect and Casualty/Personal Injury Defense? We have a fantastic opportunity for an Associate to join a team at a dynamic and growing law firm. We are recruiting for a leading law firm specializing in Construction Defect and Casualty/Personal Injury Defense cases. Our firm is dedicated to providing top-notch legal representation to our clients while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment for our team.This is a remote role but must be withing driving distance of San Diego for occasional meetings!Responsibilities: Manage and handle a caseload of Construction Defect cases (Developer/Defense only) and/or Casualty/Personal Injury cases (Defense only). Conduct legal research, analysis, and provide sound legal advice to clients. Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations. Requirements: 3+ years of recent experience in Construction Defect and/or Casualty/PI Defense. Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents. Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in the state of California. Location:The position can be remote; however, candidates should be located in proximity to our San Diego office for occasional in-person meetings and court appearances.Compensation:Competitive salary package up to $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
