Find your "Why" with us and take your place in our Leidos Family!!Experience working with complex data warehouse projectsDesign custom ETL processes to populate the data warehouseAnalyze source data for potential data quality issues and address these issuesWork with various industry leading data warehouse components (databases, ETL tools, BI/reporting tools)Use scripting (Shell scripting, python, Java) and automation and DevOpsPrepare technical documents and presentationsUtilize Atlassian product suites, git, bitbucket, confluence, Jira.FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS (Basic Qualifications) This experience is the foundation a candidate needs to be successful in this position:Bachelor's degree 4 years of prior relevant experience or Master's degree +2 years of prior relevant experience.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.2-4+ years of combined experience with SQL and/or PL/pgSQL2+ years of combined experience with Jira and ConfluenceThe ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn new skills, embed with a team, solicit ideas, and feedback.Excellent communication skillsExpert in Shell scripting including but not limited to regular expressions, and automating tasksExperience creating custom ETL using PythonFACTORS TO HELP YOU SHINE (Required Skills)These skills will help you succeed in this position:Experience working with complex data warehouse projectsExperience designing custom ETL processes to populate the data warehouse (not Tool based ETL)Ability to analyze source data for potential data quality issues and address these issuesAbility to effectively communicate information, both verbally and written to end users, team members and managementHigh-level knowledge of various industry leading data warehouse components (databases, ETL tools, BI/reporting tools)Experience in scripting (Shell scripting, python, Java) and automationExperience with DevOpsPrepare technical documents and presentationFamiliarity with Atlassian product suites, git, bitbucket, Confluence, Jira.High availability to support On-Call rotations for 24/7 Production database environmentBe comfortable working independently as well as in a team with a collaborative attitudeHOW TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD (Desired Skills)Showcase your knowledge of modern development through the following experience or skills:Ansible scriptingExperience with cloud environment, AWSDatabase Administration (DBA) skillsAbility to work individually and as part of a teamBasic knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, DB2, and Oracle)At Leidos, we deliver innovative solutions through the efforts of our diverse and talented people who are dedicated to our customers' success.
