Job Title: Catholic Religious Education Coordinator Location: Quantico , VA 22134 Duties: Supports the religious education, spiritual growth, and sacramental preparation components of the Langley Catholic Community program. The RE and Formation Program will conform to the official teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, especially as found in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the Archdiocese for Military Services, USA and publications of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. In addition, the program will follow the directives of the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults. The Catholic RE Coordinator is responsible for overall development, programing, and implementation of RE and Catholic Formation Programs. Education & Qualifications: Master’s degree in Religious Education or a Master’s Degree in Education or its equivalent as well as have experience in Catholic theology and catechesis or working towards the Master’s degree. The Coordinator must possess, or be in the process of completing AMS Catechist Certification or willing to begin the certification process. The RE Coordinator shall have a minimum of two years’ experience as a Catholic RE Coordinator/Director Powered by JazzHR
