Job Title: Fitness/ Aerobics Instructor Location: El Segundo, CA Duties: Demonstrate or explain how to perform various exercises and routines to minimize injuries and improve fitness; Watch clients do exercises to ensure that they are using the correct techniques; Provide alternative exercises during workouts or classes for different levels of fitness and skill; Monitor client progress and adapt programs as needed; Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations on sports, recreational activities, and the use of exercise equipment; Give clients information or resources about nutrition, weight control, and lifestyle issues. Give emergency first aid if needed. Shall promptly notify Fitness Center Staff at the front desk of any broken or improperly functioning equipment and/or unclean or unsafe conditions encountered before, during, or after any exercise session. Shall provide a draft monthly training calendar to Fitness Center Fitness Coordinator no later than eight (8) business days in advance of the month classes will be provided. Shall provide virtual classes if there is a shutdown of the Government’s facilities for one week or longer. Education & Qualifications: Must provide proof of a group exercise instructor certification from an accredited health/fitness organization. Powered by JazzHR
