Position Summary, Job Requirements & Responsibilities Looking for a meaningful internship opportunity that will give you real-world experience and help you grow as a professional? Look no further than the Iridium Internship Program where you will be an integral part of the Iridium teams shaping the future of satellite communications! The Iridium Internship program is a 12-week program that runs from May 20, 2024 to August 9, 2024. As an Iridium Intern, you'll begin making an impact on real projects from day one! During the program, come prepared to grow, develop, and learn alongside a team and the leaders of our company. Our Interns are offered a unique opportunity to provide valuable support to Iridium on projects and work assignments as well as the chance to participate in exciting activities that will allow you to connect with senior leadership and fellow interns. What We're Looking For:The Iridium Aviation Line of Business (LOB) team is seeking a bright intern to assist in Projects related to planning, strategy, product management or Product Design for Aviation customers. As a member of the team you will be an integral part of the Aviation Business Team with exposure to Iridium's fastest growing lines of business and widest sets of solutions. What You'll Do:Work alongside the Aviation LOB Directors to develop strategy, plans and projects related materials regarding:Cloud Based SolutionsUn-crewed Aviation SystemsAutonomous PlatformsAviation Products and ServicesWill learn aspects of marketing and work cross-collaboratively with other teamsSkills You'll Obtain:Real-world experience in chosen field of interest and related topics through multiple hands-on projectsCritical thinking and analytical skillsBe curious and passionate about technology and its practical usesLearn to take initiativeThink creativelyWhat You'll Need to Succeed:Ability to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracyExperience & Education Requirements / EEOPreferred AWS Cloud ExperiencePreferred Python Script knowledge/skills Experience & Education Requirements / EEO Things You Must Bring to the Table:Must be a minimum of 18 years of ageMust be currently enrolled in a bachelors or graduate degree program at an accredited academic institution.
