Facilities Maintenance Technician - Premium European Dealership Location: Dublin, Ohio Midwestern Auto Group (MAG) We are currently seeking a mechanically inclined and motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Facilities / Maintenance Technician. Established in 1957, today MAG is the world’s largest group of European brands. Housing a total of 14 brands on our 65 acre campus in Dublin, Ohio. Our product line-up includes Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Lotus, Maserati, Mini, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, VW, and Volvo. Responsibilities include: Diagnose, repair, and maintain all building and campus facility systems including heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, safety, security, etc. Performs specified work with efficiency, accuracy, and in accordance with regulations, local codes, and standards Performs grounds keeping and outdoor maintenance including lawncare, managing snow removal as needed Coordinates work and deliveries from contractors and vendors Maintains inspection sheets and documents maintenance, repairs, and findings Ensures a clean, organized, safe work environment Maintains open lines of communication with team members and executive management Qualifications: Foundational facilities and building maintenance experience - e.g., heating, cooling, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, safety, security, etc. - 5 years preferred Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, or other drainage problems Electrical wiring capabilities to maintain electrical systems Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs for the buildings on campus Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are appropriately addressed Operates side-by-side for travel and maintenance around the campus Use of hand and power tools to make necessary repairs Basic computer skills Positive friendly attitude and interpersonal skills to interact with employees and/or residents of the building in a professional and pleasant manner Team player with the ability to collaborate with team members Self-motivated enthusiastic presence Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building Education/License/Certifications: High School Diploma or GED Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Key Competencies: Efficiency Problem solving Strong work ethic Trustworthy Total Rewards: Competitive pay $25.00 - $35.00 per hour based on experience Medical, Dental and Vision Life, Short-Term, and Long-Term disability Paid time off including, vacation, holidays, and sick time 401K with company match up to 4% Discounted manufacturers lease program Service and parts discounts Company provided uniforms First Shift, Monday through Friday work schedule - may vary depending on weather conditions and company events MAG is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected factor.
