Some of the duties and responsibilities include maintaining common areas, setting up event spaces, reading diagrams, mopping, sweeping, and wiping down glass and other surfaces. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Cleaning and maintaining common rooms Setting up tables and chairs for events Read and understand set-up diagrams for events Sweep and mop floors Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition Monitor and report any repairs or required replacements Proficient with Excel Able to use simple hand tools Able to assemble and disassemble commercial desks on Campus Able to change light bulbs of many different types Able to assign tasks to team members and follow up SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach, kneel, and bend Ability to lift, push, and pull required load (usually about 30lbs) REQUIREMENTS: Ability to pass Canadian.
