What You Would Do in This Role The Senior Stress Engineer participates in the design of different aspects of energy industry projects from inception to completion. Duties include: Providing comprehensive engineering and design services by establishing design criteria and preparing specifications, design computations in accordance with basic project requirements Exercising cost/budget control, and reviewing and monitoring designs for conformance with control estimates and project specifications Reviewing and maintaining project schedules, and tracking engineering tasks and deliverables in conjunction with project management Supervising the various activities involved in the design of a project consisting of several complex process units Performing detailed calculations Providing technical guidance to junior staff Interfacing with client representatives Maintaining current knowledge of industry and regulatory standards Reviewing vendor or subcontractor quotations, drawings, and specifications for technical adequacy and conformance with project requirements Applying.
