Operating in 25 offices across North America, Paladin is a leader in the design, deployment, optimization, management, and maintenance of integrated systems including Security, Audio-Visual, and Data Networking systems. Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Technician l - Security to run projects from start to finish and provide customer support. Our Technician will be responsible for installing communications infrastructure and devices, including electronic security systems, audio visual devices, wireless networking, unified voice communications. Though based in Edmonton, interprovincial travel may be required. RESPONSIBILITIES: Installation (including pre-wiring, installing, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting) of CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion systems and devices; service and maintenance of such as required Support, lead, and mentor team members Design systems and layout Provide customer with training for proper system usage, and respond to technical inquiries Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism Complete detailed and accurate paperwork Perform other tasks as required Lead projects at a site level, manage a team of junior technicians as necessary QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with integrated security systems Able to work independently Strong interpersonal skills Post-secondary training in electronics or equivalent Excellent written and verbal communication skills Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract Bonus: Project Management experience Bonus: Customer Service/Stakeholder engagement Bonus: Estimating Bonus: Training of junior staff To learn more about the Integrated Security Solutions at Paladin Technologies, please click here.
