The role: If you have an Engineering degree or diploma and are interested in delivering systems/projects to completion, the Commissioning Engineer/Technologist role at Saltworks might be for you. As a Commissioning Engineer/Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation of our systems by: Working closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) and other Engineering teams to support the entire commissioning project lifecycle. Including: Developing and implementing efficient and standardized procedures for factory and site commissioning, while enhancing our cutting-edge industrial desalination and resource recovery plants. Engaging in detailed commissioning planning. Testing and commissioning innovative clean technology solutions. Representing Saltworks at customer job sites to deliver high-quality system/plant commissioning and ensuring a seamless handover to customers (regular international travel will be required). Bringing forward design feedback, driving continuous improvement and innovation within our engineering teams. Opportunities to become a subject matter expert, enabling you to keep and expand technical skills while also developing project management skills (with full management support). On average, your work will be 50% at customer sites and 50% at our headquarters. Field shifts generally require 2-3 weeks at site, followed by a similar time at headquarters.
