The opportunity Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Mission, Research & Social Enterprise, the Director, Research and Science, provides overall leadership and strategic direction to the Foundation’s research enterprise driving excellence and innovation in the delivery of research programs and strengthening linkages with research partners, volunteers, supporters and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding communicator with a strong understanding of the research funding ecosystem in Canada. With a creative and innovative approach, they will continuously look for new impactful research initiatives while continually seeking avenues for increased operational efficiency. They are adept at establishing, leading, and nurturing positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, showcasing highly developed interpersonal skills.
