Job DescriptionShort and sweet.iNovex is looking for a Top Secret/SCI (with Polygraph) cleared System Engineer to support a Prime contract dealing with big data modification and machine learning.As a System Engineer at iNovex, you will focus your skills on developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems. This is a usability-focused System Engineer position that will lead the redesign of a critical compliance system. You will work with the customer and the legacy system's development team to completely architect a new system that is more user-focused and easy to use. What you bring to the team.Experience + Education: You've got the foundations and are eager to learn more! You have: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline OR 5 additional years of system engineering experience. 14+ years of demonstrated experience is needed for this position. Analyze user requirements to drive system design and generate performance requirements from user needs. Become an expert in your stakeholder needs and architect complex systems from the ground up to solve those needs. You will also build skills focused on Human Factors and Usability Engineering. You see the big picture. Although you may hyper-focus on the small details, you also need to keep in mind the goal of the entire system and don't lose sight of the big picture and determine future needs as well. Professional problem solver. You are always analyzing or questioning a problem to get closer to a solution. You are able to solve technical problems, issues, and conflicts with ease.
