Science Technician Hours : 32.5 hours per week, term time only plus 5 training days Salary : NJC Scale 4 £18,744 - £20,045 per annum. Required from: January 2024 or asap afterwards We require a Science Technician to support the delivery of practical science. Duties include supporting the teaching of excellent science lessons, preparing resources as such, clearing after lessons and dealing with materials in accordance with health and safety procedures. Ideally the role would suit someone with scientific background, but full training will be given to suitable candidates. The main qualities required are organisation, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. This role may suit someone who is considering a career in teaching who wants to gain some experience in a school, or someone transferring from a different area of work, or looking to return to work after a period of time.
