Electrical, Electronics and Software Systems Validation Engineer : 55836 : Basildon : Up to A GBP 35.65/hr : Inside IR35 (Can increase for experienced candidates) Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and collaborative Electrical, Electronics, and Software Systems Validation Engineer to join our clients inclusive and friendly team. This full: time electrical engineering role is based in Basildon and offers a contract rate of A GBP 35.65 per hour inside IR35. As an Electrical, Electronics, and Software Systems Validation Engineer, you will deliver systems validation on the Engineering Bread Boards (EBBs), Smart Engineering Breadboards (SEBBs), and the development vehicle fleet as required. You will also use advanced tools and methods, from the standard CAN communication tools to d SPACE Rapid Control Prototyping and HIL Systems. During your first few weeks in this Electrical, Electronics, and Software Systems Validation Engineer role, you can expect to begin work on some of the following: Complex systems and data analysis skills to triage failed test cases and issues to determine where the software or hardware defect is Developing tools and processes for testing, finding, and solving issues Utilising automotive networks, End of Line testing, On Board Diagnostics, electrical and electronic interfaces, electronic control units, and AUTOSAR Adaptive and AUTOSAR Classic embedded software The ideal candidate for this Validation Engineer position will have a degree in a relevant engineering discipline, particularly mechatronics, control systems, or electrical engineering. Knowledge of Software development, issues management, and tracking processes will be vital to success. Additional qualifications include: Knowledge of ECU software flash and configuration processes Experience in debugging complex electrical systems with embedded software Knowledge of Vehicle Electrical Network Systems Experience with CAN, Ethernet, LIN,.
