HGV Mechanic Location: Leeds Day shifts: Days Salary: GBP 40,000 : GBP 45,000 Overtime 1.5 About your new company My client is a fleet maintenance company who have been established for 45 years, they run a wide variety of services and work on anything from HGV, trailers, vans and cars. Due to their continued success they are now looking for a skilled HGV Mechanic to join their ever growing team. About your new HGV Mechanic role : You will carry out maintenance, repairs and modification work on the fleet of vehicles including HGVs, trailers, vans and carsand provide technical support from fault analysis through to competition. : You will provide technical work to the highest standards in line with strict health and safety requirements. : You will also be required to undertake pre MOT checks and undertake any repairs that are required. : General HGV Mechanic duties The successful HGV Mechanic will require: : You will have an in: depth knowledge of HGV, trailers, and light commercial vehicles : Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but not essential) : You will have industry recognised qualifications, NVQ or City and Guilds level 3 as an HGV Mechanic : You must have detailed experience as an HGV Mechanic and be familiar withcommercial vehicles.
