Test and Validation Engineer : 55832 : Basildon (Hybrid) : Up to A GBP 35.65/hr : Inside IR35 (Can be increased for experienced candidates) Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping an automotive OEM recruit a Test and Validation Engineer, and the contract role comes with a rate of A GBP 35.65 per hour (Umbrella, IR35). As a Software Test and Validation Engineer, you will support deliveries of software deliveries in the Electrical Lab, Test Coordination, Engineering Bread Boards (EBBs), SW Validation Fleet, SW BOM, Network Topology, Diagnostics and Netcom. In your first week in this Test and Validation Engineer role, you can expect to: Develop sign: off test methods for EBBs and vehicles and apply them in line with internal engineering gateways Support delivery of E/E System level testing specifications and subsequent test delivery with partners in Vehicle Engineering Validation Support EOL/Diagnostics team with CV programme delivery of all requirements, including development and delivery of new Flexible Network Architecture. for this Test and Validation Engineer role, you will need knowledge of software development, control and tracking processes. You will also require the following: Knowledge of software flash processes Experience in debugging complex systems Vehicle Electrical Network Systems CAN and Diagnostic tools such as CANalyzer, DET or Interpret Experience manufacturing plant EOL processes and systems.
