Legal Intern, Cohesive (Summer 2024) Location: Remote/Hybrid in City of London Position Summary: This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious law student to join a truly inspirational business in summer 2024 for a month, either throughout June, July, August or September (with one candidate each month) and gain hands: on in: house experience. Cohesive, a business unit of Bentley Systems, is seeking a talented law student from a recognised UK university, to report directly into Cohesive's Chief Counsel and be a member of the wider Bentley Systems legal team, comprising of more than 30 lawyers and support staff in nine global locations. Cohesive is a full lifecycle digital integrator delivering transformational outcomes through the built and natural environment (see cohesivegroup). Cohesive has brought together the best of the industry digital capabilities in each of the 'Deliver', 'Operational' and 'Optimisation' asset stages under the banner of " Better Together" to create a truly integrated approach to manage our client's assets and services using up to date technology and Digital Twins. We work in three regions (Americas, Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and Asia Pacific (APAC)), creating partnerships and collaborations to provide outstanding service and advice. We work in close partnership with our clients to improve their Financial, Social, and Environmental outcomes. We leverage the skills and expertise of our teams and a select a handful of high: calibre complementary partners to meet and exceed expectations. The successful candidate will be exposed to a wide range of legal matters across our Cohesive business and gain experience in several key functions that an in: house lawyer typically experiences, which is likely to include drafting exercises, contractual reviews, records keeping and contract management as well as other special projects from time to time.
