*Remote Patient Monitoring Supervising Physician*We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced, California-licensed physician to join our team as a Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) Supervising Physician. As the physician lead for our remote patient monitoring program, you will play a critical role in overseeing and guiding our Virtual Clinical Group in providing high-quality, evidence-based care. Your expertise in patient management, clinical decision-making, and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our remote patient monitoring initiatives. This is a part-time role.*Remote Patient Monitoring Supervising Physician Advantages:*A key advantage of the remote patient monitoring supervising physician is flexible work in a comfortable, work-from-home environment.* *Flexible, hourly position* with coverage needs both day and night* *Opportunity for growth* within team as interested and available* *Dedicated training* in remote monitoring and care coordination best practices*Primary Duties and Responsibilities:**Patient Enrollment in RPM Program** Between October and February, conduct and appropriately document a virtual visit with every patient initially referred to the RPM program (~950 patients) to establish a relationship with the patient and to confirm the medical appropriateness of remote physiological monitoring and the patient’s care plan.* After February 2024 conduct and appropriately document a virtual visit with every new patient referred to the RPM to establish a relationship with the patient and to confirm the medical appropriateness of remote physiological monitoring and the patient’s care plan.*Program Supervision** At least once every 90 days review each patient’s monitoring records and care management notes and document work appropriately in RPM system.*As Needed** Provide guidance to clinical staff on the patient’s care plan and escalate any concerns to the patient’s primary care physician / clinical team* Be available to consult with the clinical staff as needed. Offer guidance, support, and expertise to ensure high-quality patient care.* Liaise with primary care providers and specialists to ensure continuity of care.* Serve as the identified supervising physician for Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care billing purposes.* Ensures program is meeting all requirements outlined in Federal and State regulations and payor rules.* Actively support and participate in any applicable quality and process improvement efforts.*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** Excellent communication and relatability skills with patients, providers, and clinical staff* Outstanding clinical expertise, evidence-based practice* Competent in providing patient education at every visit* Above-average comfort with technology and assisting patients with troubleshooting technical difficulties that may occur in the home environment –* Timely and professional*This is the Right Opportunity for Physicians Who Have:** Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school* Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.* Board certification in a relevant medical specialty, such as Family Practice, Internal Medicine or Geriatrics* Strong technical skills required and experience providing televisits preferred* Fluency in SpanishJob Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearPrimary care specialties:* Geriatrics* Internal Medicine* Primary CareSchedule:* Choose your own hoursLanguage:* Spanish fluently (Required)License/Certification:* board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (Required)* California Medical License (Required)Work Location: Remote
