Pet Waste Technician - Poop Scooper No Nights, Flexible Schedule IMMEDIATE OPENINGS FOR CENTRAL / SOUTH JERSEY We are hiring because we are rapidly growing and want to hire the best candidates for the job. There are (2) immediate openings available for the right people. Come join our team! We are looking to fill a few positions in the SOMERSET, MONMOUTH, AND MIDDLESEX COUNTIES • A reliable, hard-working, responsible person.• Who loves working outdoors and likes dogs.• Entrepreneurs welcomed.• Enjoy working independently. • Follows directions easily.• College student to retired worker• Summer position OKAY• Looking for a part-time permanent position ( 20-30 HRS) .• Previous outdoor work experience is a major Plus. • Doesn't mind picking up pet waste and geese waste (poop). Our ideal candidate is: • Self-motivated.• Highly dependable worker.• MUST HAVE a clean driving record. • 3 years minimum of driving experience. • Having water-resistant footwear would be helpful. We are the postal workers of poop!• Must be able to handle a small pickup truck or small SUV.• Currently looking to minimum work 2 days or more per week, morning/daily routes, approximately 6 - 9 hours per day. • Flexibility in available days.• Ideal job for a college student, retiree, extra income, a parent looking for work during child in school, etc. Benefits: • Paid training ($15.50).• No weekend work• Day shift - Mornings starting at 7 am.• Seasonal Bonuses• Accumulated Sick time (Up to 40hrs each year)• Major Holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving New Year's Day)• Bi-annual performance review.• Team Building activities. (monthly team breakfast)• No Late Nights - usually done before sunset 5/6 pm. Responsibilities:Your workday will start in HOWELL, NJ • Start at 7:00 a.m. daily.• No nights after 5/6 p.m. • Weekends( VERY MINIMAL scheduled in advance ). • The pay rate is $15.50 (training) - $17 per hour (Based on experience and training). • We are a growing company offering the opportunity to grow with the company for the right people if interested.• Daily assignment of customers.• Drive to the assigned home, pick up poop, and drive to the next house on the list.• Follow predesignated routes.• Punctuality.• Attention to detail and accuracy.• Follow notes provided.• Problem solver.• Customer service skills.• Able to lift 25-30 lbs on and off a flatbed.• Avid Listener can take directions well.• Clear communication skills.• Able to keep your work area sanitized and organized.• Independence in the field• Work with awesome coworkers.• Must love dogs.• Alertness. Qualifications:• Driver's License (Required)• Driving for at least 3 years (Required)• Clean Driving Record (Required)• US Work Authorization (Required)• High School or Equivalent (Preferred)• Cell Phone with GPS (Required)• Outdoor fieldwork• Love for dogs and animals• Ease driving on all types of roads; highways, parkways, interstate highways, back roads, and local roads Field Experience Training starts at $15.50 (training) COVID-19 considerations: Since our work is outside and we work alone, we do not come into contact with many people.Our technicians drive the same company trucks daily. Disinfecting of tools and trucks and keeping contact to a minimum.Gloves are worn for tasks, and masks are provided as well.
