Mechanical CAD Drafter Main Points Fully onsite Marshalltown, Iowa Must have experience with Solidworks Salary: 45k-55k GED or HS diploma required Job Duties Using CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, to prepare technical drawings Working with engineers and other professionals to produce drawings that meet their specifications Writing related technical documents such as material lists and cost estimates Ensuring that all drawings are accurate and meet industry standards Maintaining a library of standard drawing templates Updating existing drawings as new information becomes available Create SolidWorks 3D models with corresponding assembly and detail drawings. Design and build support structures for large and small AV systems. Ability to build and update Bill of Materials. Requirements High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of fundamental Engineering, manufacturing processes and fabricated metal products. Proficiency in a CAD and/or Solid works platform. Experience working directly with engineers and technical staff, to develop appropriate product. Must have clear and concise written and/or oral communication abilities. Powered by JazzHR
