We are seeking an Assistant Lab Manager to support the operations of our lab. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a laboratory environment and managing lab resources. The Assistant Lab Manager will work closely with the Lab Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of the lab and support research activities.Responsibilities: Oversee lab operations, including lab safety, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and ordering of supplies Collaborate with the Lab Manager to develop and implement lab policies and procedures Train and supervise lab technicians and students on lab protocols and procedures Assist in the planning and execution of experiments and research projects Perform lab administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and data entry Manage lab budgets and prepare financial reports Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as OSHA and EPA regulations Participate in lab meetings and communicate with other lab members and collaborators Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in lab management and identify opportunities for improvement in lab processes and tools Powered by JazzHR
