This position is looking for someone who is able to go onsite to Mechanicsville, PA three days a week and has an active secret clearance. This position requires US citizenship and is looking to pay around $40-$47/hr for a 6-month contract to hire position. This is a full-time position that is looking for someone who is ready to start ASAP. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Production and development support to the Cloud and On-premise Network infrastructures. Full life cycle support of AWS GovCloud and On-Premise hosted LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and Intranet systems; this includes hardware (Cisco, HP, Forescout, AWS, etc.) installation, management, operations, sustainment, and technical refresh. Maintain file servers, Firewalls, network access, Security Monitoring Systems and system documentation as requiredInterface with local customers and provide IT related support to quickly resolve problemsAnalyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performancePerform periodic maintenance, hardware upgrades and replacement, firmware updates and system configuration changesPerform scheduled tape backups on systems as requiredManage data backup library to include storage of tapes, disks and other magnetic media at the customer’s location and off-site storage facilities as requiredAttend planning and requirements meetings with IT staff, Program Managers and customers as requiredPrepare system for operational use and support operational testsProvide technical guidanceProvide leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for Team Members Basic Qualifications At least 5 years related experience network administrator (installing, configuring, managing, and maintaining Cloud hosted and On-Premise networks). Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience (4 years) Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of CISCO network and switching and virtualization technologiesWorking knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies and data backup technologies to include communication security (COMSEC) integration.Working knowledge of Risk Management Framework, and Joint DODIIS/Cryptologic SCI Information Systems Security Standards, Common Criteria, and System Security Policy as they relate to C&AWorking knowledge and current relevant experience with PL1 & PL2 systems; experience with PL3 & PL4 cross domain solutions is a plusMust be familiar with security policy/manuals and other guiding policy documentsAbility to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partnersWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervisionRequires travel within the organizational geographic Area of Responsibility (AOR) (note - could be extensive, and will include both air and ground transportation) Security Clearance Requirements: Current Secret ClearanceActive Security+Powered by JazzHR
