Primary Responsibilities: Monitor and Respond to All Help Desk Requests in a Professional, Thorough and Timely Manner Provide Technical Support for Issues Related to IT Systems, Phone Systems, Software and Hardware Resolve Routine Office IT Issues Including Phone, Fax, Printer, AV, Access Control and Email Issues Assist Remote Employees Thoroughly Document Internal Procedures Create Step-By-Step Training Materials with Screenshots for Employees Conduct Staff Training Set Up New Employees Suggest Possible Improvements on Procedures Report Significant and Recurring Issues for Higher Level of Support Work with Technology Vendors and Manage Projects Required/Minimum Qualifications: Proven Success as a Help Desk Technician or Similar IT Role Minimum of 2 years Technical Degree in computer related discipline. Strong Computer Skills and the Ability to Identify and Troubleshoot Technology Issues Familiarity with PC Hardware and Software - Office 365 Understanding and Experience in Data Networking Including LAN, WAN, FTP, SFTP, VPN, VLAN’s, Wi-Fi, Access Control/Surveillance System Maintenance and Basic Audio/Video Knowledge Ability to Communicate Effectively with Users with Differing Levels of Computer Skills Prior exp working w/SAP and MS Access, as well as strong interpersonal skills and history of manufacturing background a plus.
