Washington State UniversityFacilities Services, Building Operations Locksmith Lead. Under general supervision, maintain, repair, install, and service all types of mechanical and electronic locking devices, vehicle locks, vaults, and safe security equipment, access control systems, and door automation systems; inspect key and locking systems. Prepare labor estimates for proposed lock device installation, repair revise, and recommend appropriate hardware types. Salary range starts at $3964. Background check required.One year full-time experience as a journey locksmith. Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration or equivalent trade skill.Possession of, or ability to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver’s license.Experience with door hardware, locks, master key systems, and security systems.Four (4) years training and one (1) year additional experience in journey level locksmith trade.High School Diploma or GED .For full description of position requirements and to apply, visit www.wsujobs.com.
