We are currently seeking to hire and place a number of Loss Prevention professionals for a GTA-wide retailer. Skills/Qualifications: - Preferred to have at least 2 years of Uniformed Security experience in a retail, hospital, College or hospitality sites. - Must have a minimum of a (1) year experience being in a Loss Prevention Role - Be able and willing to work/commute at different sites across Toronto and GTA - Strong communication skills - written and verbal - Valid Security Guard License - Valid CPR License - Demonstrated ability to prepare professional daily and/or incident security reports with meticulous detail and grammar - Willingness to complete all required training modules that include Lawful Subject Restraint, Crisis Management - both of which require annual recertification - Knowledge of Trespass to Property Act (TPA), Canada Criminal Code and 494(c) - Conflict Resolution and De-Escalation skills - Ability/willingness to conduct arrests in appropriate and sanctioned situations- Use of Force Experience/Training is an backst- Military/Police background/Law Enforcement background is an backst Attributes: - Must have a calm demeanor, be reliable, strong character and team player. - Customer Service driven/culture - Able to be Punctual and have a Stellar Attendance Record - Able to stand/walk up for 8 - 12 hours work shifts What's is in it for you!
