Lead Support Worker Railway Terrace, North Shields Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw) -based on rota 8-8. Flexible to work shifts including weekends and Bank Holidays. Pay £11.51 per hour (£22,500 per annum) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan. Driver preferred, but not essential. As our Lead Support Worker, (internally we call this support coordinator) at Railway Terrace. Our customers support needs include homelessness, diagnosed or undiagnosed mental health, drug and substance misuse, and offending behaviour. You will be at the heart of helping to develop customers skills to live more independently in the community. Including budgeting, domestic skills and tenancy management. You’ll make a big difference each day as you help customers achieve their hopes and aspirations. Amazing we know! Typical day as a Lead Support Worker (known by us as Coordinator) Creating support plans with your customers (and coordinating other support plans for the service). You will empower customers to develop independent living skills they need, to successfully move on (if and when ready). You will offer support so that customers are able to live fulfilled lives in the community with a package of support. Working closely with external agencies so that there is a seamless approach to support. Carrying out risk backssments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.
