Sales Executive for Timber Merchant to handle calls, enquiries, sales process, quotations, counter sales, client interface, orders etc. Based Wootton Bassett, Swindon, Wiltshire £25k to £30k p. a. depending on experience + performance bonus Sales Executive Wootton Bassett £25k to £30k p. a. depending on experience + performance bonus Do you have retail sales experience Do you have great customer service skills Excellent opportunity for Sales Trainee to develop career with successful Wiltshire based sawmill THE ROLE As Sales Executive you will be undertaking a customer focused, desk and counter-based sales role, supporting the sales and order administration activities of a busy timber merchants, dealing with customers face to face at the counter, on the telephone and via email enquiries. You will be a key point of contact for customers on the telephone or visiting in person, handling enquiries and the sales process from quotations through scheduling, despatch, delivery and all associated admin and delivery paperwork. Working as part of a small, friendly and well-motivated team, you will provide sales and technical information and support to existing and potential customers. Full on the job product and sales training will be provided. Working Hours – Monday to Friday only. THE COMPANY Our client, is one of the largest and most innovative hardwood sawmills in the country, specialising in cutting and manufacturing British grown timbers. They process and sell and wide range of timber products to a client base including both trade and retail customers. As a family business, they believe in a long-term and ethical approach to business that involves nurturing people and supporting the natural environment. THE PERSON As Sales Executive you will be energetic and charismatic, with previous sales experience within a retail or trade environment dealing directly with members of the public.
