GENERAL FUNCTION This role is responsible for the day-to-day function of the logistics department. The Team Leader (Outbound Fulfillment) provides directions, instructions, guidance, and leadership to the team to achieve KPIs and service promise. This role will be accountable for assigned daily/weekly/monthly KPIs and team performance while working closely with the Fulfillment Shift Supervisor and Training Team to ensure that processes are followed correctly. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the floor and assign tasks to achieve daily goals Communicate information from management to the outbound team and vice versa Monitor all orders, ensuring everything is shipped per our service promise Improve employee engagement and motivation Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments Identify process improvements Responsible for giving feedback to supervisor in conducting yearly individual review Regular engagement with other teams such as inbound, trainers, inventory,.
