Established in 1971, we have proudly upheld the true values of customer service and have grown into new territories and markets. We are currently seeking a Service Manager to oversee operations. Service Manager Job Description Position summary : Oversee all aspects of the Service of your branch. Hire, train, and develop personnel as well as ensure that the overall operation of the branch is following rules, regulations, guidelines, and policies set forth by the regulating bodies and Pest USA. Essential Functions (include but not limited to): Manage and train all Service Professionals to be following all state and federal regulations and to ensure quality service to all customers by leading by example, always being professional in speech, dress, and action. Conduct new employee training, inspect and assure all field training checkoff lists are fully completed. Confirm the state registration exam has been passed prior to allowing the employee to work alone. Maintain proper inventory of products and equipment related to the Service Professional's job functions. Ensure all Service Professionals are performing appropriate treatments and performing thorough and accurate inspections for wood destroying organisms and pest issues. Respond to incoming calls and identify the needs of the client or potential client by assisting with the coordinating of inspections for termite and pest inspections. Initiate phone calls to coordinate service of existing clients and answer questions regarding billing, service or specific questions involving terms of service, treatment options, and conditions that might contribute to the activity of certain pests. Travel to customer locations to inspect and evaluate services. Supervise the daily activities of all Service Professionals . Assist with hiring, training, and developing personnel as well as ensure that the overall operation of the branch is following rules, regulations, guidelines, and policies set forth by the regulating bodies and Pest USA. Physical demands of the job should include sitting, standing, bending, and lifting. Review production and performance of employees according to company guidelines. Maintain and safely operate fleet vehicle(s). Conduct branch and vehicle inspections and take necessary actions. Ensure that Service Professionals and office reflect the appropriate Company image including but not limited to uniforms, guidelines, and vehicle appearance. Pursue all relevant Certifications in Mosquito, Pest Control, and Termite Control as quickly as possible. Timeframe will be agreed upon by the VP of Service and Quality and the Service Manager candidate prior to the start date. Maintain certifications and licenses required to operate a branch in the state. Ensure all registered and certified sales and service professionals maintain required hours. Audit all service agreements and accompanying paperwork. Participate in and conduct meetings that are required. Directly report to the Vice President of Service and Quality. Communicate issues related to the daily performance of the branch to the VP of Service and Quality. Comply with all company policies, procedures, guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Possess current driver's license Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed Must maintain any state regulatory agency required licensing exams Able to lift up to 50 pounds Frequent bending, squatting and crawling.
