JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Actively support and further the Mission of The Arc of the Quad Cities Area. "To empower people with disabilities to believe in their own unique abilities and achieve their full potential by providing quality, innovative services that focus on advocacy, independence, employment, meaningful community life and personal happiness." Set up and perform work operations as part of a team. Maintain agency property and agency or contract environments in a safe and clean manner. Under the supervision of staff, operate machinery and equipment used in moving materials for production and delivery processes. Comply with all safety, production and quality control standards. Comply with work schedules and make recommendations regarding job design and quality control measures. Interact professionally with other personnel at work site. Perform all other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in factory setting preferred. Strength and flexibility to lift parts, equipment and supplies. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with others. Ability to perform a variety of tasks at or above time-studied norms, after substantial training and an appropriate work trial period.
