Are You Looking to Make A Difference?LSI is seeking a full-time Residential School Liaison for our Bremwood residential campus in Waverly. DUTIES The School Liaison is the primary contact for school personnel for any school-related issue or emergency (behavior problems, illnesses, hygiene, homework, etc.). This position attends all school-related meetings such as intakes, IEPs, behavior improvement, etc., ensures transportation of residents to and from school is on-time, and ensures residents are dressed appropriately for the classroom and the weather. During summer, will be part of summer enrichment and crisis intervention through out the day on campus. Seeking an independent worker with people skills and ability to maintain relationships with outside agencies. This position also assists in providing a safe, positive, therapeutic living environment to residents through independent judgment and discretion to achieve resident treatment success and serves as a professional member of the therapeutic treatment team serving the needs of the children entrusted to the care of LSI.This position needs to be available before school through end of school day. Will also include being in on-call rotation, which will include evening/weekend hours, and will be expected to work in ratio. QUALIFICATIONS Required: Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) or related social science field plus one year experience in child mental health services OR Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field and 30 hrs CMH training, plus one year experience in child mental health services.This position requires a valid Driver's License, Auto Insurance, a good driving record and the ability to pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child abuse registries, Sex Offender registry and a criminal history check.LSI offers a competitive salary and benefit package including paid time off, health, dental, life, and vision insurance, and 401(k).
