Do you have an interest in working with mobile recreation as a PPD On The Go! Attendant? Apply online today.Pay Range: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour.PPD on the Go! Mobile Recreation is a program where we bring activities from all corners of the District to various neighborhoods. Under the supervision of the Manager of Athletics and Recreation Services, the PPD on the Go! Attendants will provide instruction on traditional recreation activities and sports to youth of all ages at various sites and parks throughout the District. This position will also assist in setting up and tearing down equipment for PPD on the Go! Teach and instruct recreation programs to children. Develop programs/curriculum and prepare daily lesson plans based on the needs of the group. Ensure the safety and proper technique of participants while in the program. Follow an age appropriate curriculum for participants. Provide a high level of customer service to parents and participants. Setup and teardown sites before and after program. Exercise precautions necessary to ensure the safety of participants. Build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers. Attend job specific trainings. Support all aspects of the Peoria Park District's safety program and follow all rules, policies and procedures. Perform all other duties as assigned. See attachment for full job description:
