Crompco is looking for bright and energetic individuals that are interested in a unique and financially rewarding career in the environmental protection industry.Sump Repair Technicians will be trained to:Identify and repair issues with containment entries/seamsClean containment sumps/pans and gutter areasPerform hydrostatic testing of containment post repairsAll work is outdoors, primarily (98%) at gasoline stations/ convenience stores (2% other facilities). Overtime and travel is required.U.S. military veteran candidates may choose to use one year of their GI Bill benefits, for on-the-job (OJT) at Crompco.DUTIESOn the job training includes:Conduct sump repair surveysRepair and replace existing entry fittings found in sumpsPrepare survey & testing reportsContinue to improve technical competence through experienceSupport customer in sump repair needsMaintain technical competenceAchieve and/or maintain manufacturer certifications as neededQUALIFICATIONSOccasional to frequent lifting up to 10-50 lbs.Extensive drivingMust have a good driving record.Ability to travel overnightFrequent kneeling, stooping, handling, reaching, standing, crouching, leaning over, reachingGood coordination with hands and fingers, able to fit into tight spaces when neededD.O.T. physical card and pass a pre-employment drug screen.A CDL (Commercial Driver s License) is not required.
