Blown Insulation Installer - performs the essential functions of the position, which include installing insulation materials in new and retrofit applications. This position requires the ability to perform physical activities to perform the job duties and to understand and follow installation procedures. Blown Insulation Installer - must have experience in blowing insulation materials in attics and BIBS experience. Starting pay will be $20. Pay is competitive and MAY increase IF you can posses a good work ethic and show up on time each day. * MUST be able to pass a drug test and have a valid driver's license with a good driving record* Essential Job Functions: * Install loose fill, batt and other insulation materials in attics and walls of new and retrofit applications* Fit, wrap, stable, or glue insulating materials to structures or surfaces in new and retro applications.* Distribute insulating materials evenly into small places in floors, walls, or ceilings* Record material and labor on work orders daily, maintain vehicle records and pay sheets daily* Perform additional duties as assigned by Management or Team Members* Prompt and reliable attendance is required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities * Knowledge of construction and/or home improvement* Knowledge of construction and installation machines and tools, including their uses, repair, and maintenance* Knowledge of basic mathematics to solve problems* Skill in the use of installation equipment, machines, and tools to meet specification* Skill in inspecting products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance* Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers and customers* Ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time. Education and Experience * High School diploma or GED is required. Valid driver's licenses for the appropriate class and a good driving record is required. Physical Requirements Must be able to see and read blue prints and instructionsMust be able to hear to effectively communicate with clients, vendors and coworkersMust be able to sit for long periods of timeMust be able to move about worksiteMust be able to stoop or kneel to pick up products or materialsMust be able to lift up to 100 lbsMust be able to use technical and/or mechanical equipment and hand toolsNormal working conditions indoor and outdoor environment with exposure to non-climate controlled and extreme factors.PPE- Personal Protective Equipment is REQUIRED. Pay is competitive WITH experience and MAY increase if requirements are met- good work ethic , following directions, prompt attendance, safe driving experience/license, ability to be drug free.
