Description:
Deliver quality care by participating in a team centered approach towards patient care. Collaboration with the Physician and support staff regarding all aspects of patient care. Will be responsible for order verification, scheduling patients for appointments/surgeries/testing along with obtaining insurance prior authorizations. Responsible for triaging patient calls and scheduling them appropriately. Clinical work involving obtaining patient histories, rooming and prepping patients for exam, etc. Must p ossess exceptional communication skills, critical thinking skills, and independent decision making skills. Some travel will be required. Athletic Trainers may have the opportunity for community outreach to local athletes. Minimum One (1) year experience in direct patient care Excellent PC skills. BLS / CPR certification. Must have appropriate education and training. Athletic Trainers must be BOC Certified with Illinois Licensure. M-F 8:00-4:30
